The San Fernando Valley Lacrosse League
"The Hottest Lacrosse in California."
The San Fernando Valley Lacrosse League (SFVLL) is the first lacrosse league ever to serve the youth of the San Fernando Valley. We provide healthy and safe sports competition for youth with "the fastest game on two feet" - LACROSSE!
We offer lacrosse to boys and girls in high school (9-12th) who want to develop their skills. We also offer lacrosse for youth in three divisions for both boys and girls entering the 1st/2nd/3rd grade, 4th/5th grade, and 6th/7th/8th grades! Beginners are our specialty as we expose Valley youth to a new sport. The 1st-3rd grade children learn a 3-on-3 version of the game called Chumash. We do this to allow more playing time and less confusion for our younger players. It also puts more emphasis on the basic fundamentals of passing, catching, and ball handling. In the 4th through 8th grade teams, we play the full 10-on-10 version of the game played in Varsity high school programs and the NCAA. |
