The San Fernando Valley Lacrosse League (SFVLL) is a non-profit organization that was formally established in 2006. The origins of the San Fernando Valley Lacrosse League date back to 2004 when founder and executive director Brent Robinson developed a program for inner-city youth in a single neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Today, the SFVLL is designed to promote the youth of the San Fernando Valley with the opportunity to participate in non-traditional sports such as lacrosse. The SFVLL uses the game of lacrosse as a vehicle to instill values, education, and life-sustaining skills that will give young boys and girls the opportunity to be successful.

Our Director:
While a student at Howard University, Brent Robinson played for the Howard Bison Lacrosse Team where he was starting goalie for 4 years. He helped Howard's men's lacrosse program make history along with Morgan State Univ. Men's lacrosse team. Together these teams made history by playing the first All African American Collegiate Lacrosse Game. Prior to this, Brent spent 2 years involved with the "WINNERS Lacrosse" program, an inner-city youth Lacrosse program in Washington, DC.
Brent is a US Lacrosse certified lacrosse coach and a certified Positive Coaching Alliance trainer. He also sits on the Executive board for the US Lacrosse Greater Los Angeles Chapter and serves as Vice-President.
It is the mission of the "San Fernando Valley Youth Lacrosse League" to introduce, grow, and promote the game of lacrosse at the youth level for boys and girls. Our goal is to start and maintain a high-quality youth league in a large untapped region of Los Angeles by offering a sound organization of coaches and enthusiasts, and to attract those who serve such a mission with the current growth and expansion of the game.
